IBCSD along with its working unit Tropical Forest Alliance 2020 (TFA 2020) held a focused group discussion (FGD) on May 8, 2018 in Jakarta to facilitate government and World Resource Institute (WRI) Indonesia in inclusion of private sector (non-state actor) in One-map Policy implementation through an approach designed by WRI that is called “Kamar Tengah”. This approach is a collaborative and communication room for non-state actors to be able to collaborate in One-map Policy implementation managed by the government of Indonesia.
Starting with introducing and socializing the One-map Policy from state actors such as BIG, Kemenko and Kantor Staf Presiden to more than twenty participants representing companies and business associations, the FGD discussed some strategic issues on how private sector can formally contribute and which barriers all actors may face to speed up the implementation.
