SCOPE OF WORK

  1. Together with consortium partners to identify challenges and curated strategic action plans to be discussed during the regional technical dialogues, with key stakeholders and/or actors involved in the national dashboard preparation
  2. Review documents published during the focus group discussions
  3. Conduct literature research on EUDR and sectoral-focuses literatures: rubber, palm oil, and cocoa.
  4. Conduct bilateral meetings and or attend Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with sectoral stakeholders to collect data and information across smallholders and business sectors. These interactions will provide valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities in the rubber, palm oil, and cocoa sectors.
  5. Present the recommendation in the first Regional Technical Dialogue and integrate feedback from the stakeholders into the recommendation paper

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS

  1. A postgraduate degree or higher, with relevant field experiences in the EUDR context and issues and a deforestation-free and conversion-free Agri-commodity supply chain.
  2. Proven track record and experience in engaging critical issues of deforestation-free and conversion-free Agri-commodity supply chains with smallholders and businesses, with more than 25 – 30 years of experience in that particular field
  3. Hold senior-level or director-level experiences in the field of research, public, and private sectors to demonstrate holistic, forward-looking strategic visions and ground-level understanding translated into the expected output.
  4. Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of relevant stakeholders within smallholders, businesses, CSOs/NGOs, and governments that are relevant to enrich discussion in the context of Technical EUDR.
  5. Demonstrating capacity in facilitation skills, critical and analytical skills.
  6. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
